Here is the reference manual of the montage theme programming language for Pinnacle Studio.
This work is based according to the observation of all objects and parameters used by Pinnacle in montage themes of Studio 12 and 14 as well as those of the Winter Pack. It details the structure of language, and all the different objects with all their parameters. A special series of themes will make you see by yourself the effect of each parameter in these different objects.
Once going through the programming language, try to follow the various following tutorials below, preferably in the order ...
Firstly, I created a template of montage theme to be customized for your needs. This structure, extremely powerful, will be modified step by step to create two themes released on this site.

It was a very classic TV series in the 1960s that is now regularly diverted during wedding dinners to introduce the life of newlyweds. This is the famous series "The Persuaders" credits (translated as "Amicalement Votre" in French, thus explaining the name of this series !).
Papy Serge has had the great idea to create this new series of montage themes Papy Serge Amicalement Votre to perform this montage very accuratly and with a minimum of work.
As you will see, this series is really very simple to use.
I take this opportunity to recall the existence of another series of montage theme on the same subject made a few years ago byguignol-film that you can find on his site.

When I started to have a little experience in montage theme development, I have launched this project... and I quickly resigned, due to the complexity of this task, after having only programmed the 2 first sequences. It was during the summer 2010!
And then, the virus came back to me, and as I am not of the kind to accept to fail, I decided to overcome all the difficulties and achieve this series !

Pinnacle Studio 16 (just like his father, Avid Studio) offers a large amount of buttons to customize your DVD menus. If it is relatively easy to create new navigation buttons directly in the DVD menus editor of Pinnacle Studio 16, simply by dragging an image on your menu and by setting the button property, there was no known solution to create additional thumbnail buttons that would be added to the collections provided with the software.
This tutorial will explain step-by-step how to add a thumbnail button (ie a button containing a small size video that announces a chapter) to the default list of Pinnacle Studio 16 using the online tool proposed on this site!
The figure below shows the first buttons (using alphabetic order) present in the collection. This tutorial will create the "20cents Logo" button, which will therefore be added in the first position of the list (because grading is done alphabetically ...)

Lorsque vous visualisez les différentes séries de thèmes de montage, les visiteurs inscrits ont la possibilité d'indiquer qu'ils aiment particulièrement un thème de montage.
Pour cela, il suffit de cliquer sur la petite icone représentant un bouton de vote 
**Attention : un même visiteur ne peut avoir qu'un maximum de 12 thèmes préférés, il convient donc d'être sélectif pour ne marquer que vos coups de coeur !*
Rassurerez vous, vous pourrez toujours changer d'avis si un nouveau thème vous parait encore mieux que ceux de votre sélection. Pour cela, il faudra cliquer sur l'icone représentant une gomme  qui remplace le bouton de vote sur les thèmes de votre sélection.
Les thèmes qui auront bénéficié de vote apparaissent avec une coupe  suivie du nombre de vote.
Le menu best of vous permet de voir en un clic la sélection de thèmes plébiscités par la communauté des membres inscrits.
